Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with over 15 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration and enterprise database environments. The role involves strong expertise in Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure Cloud, with extensive hands-on experience in migrating on-prem Oracle databases to Oracle DB@Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in handling BLOB data separation and integration with Azure Blob Storage, and strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication. Experience in converting cron jobs into Oracle Database Jobs for improved automation is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure Cloud environments.
  • Migrate on-premise Oracle databases to Oracle DB@Azure Cloud.
  • Handle BLOB data separation and integration with Azure Blob Storage.
  • Implement and manage Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication.
  • Convert cron jobs to Oracle Database Jobs for enhanced automation.
  • Perform advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and database monitoring.
  • Manage large-scale, high-availability database systems.
  • Oversee backup, restore, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Engage in ETL processes and Azure SQL integration.
  • Participate in database design, analysis, and enterprise application support.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum environments with full SDLC exposure.
  • Utilize DevOps tools including Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide basic experience in Power BI environment setup and reporting.

  • 14+ Years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Cloud.
  • Experience migrating Oracle databases to Azure Cloud.
  • Experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
  • Experience converting cron jobs to Oracle Database Jobs.
  • Experience with ETL processes and Azure SQL integration.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD).

Certifications:

  • DBA Associate certifications
  • Azure certifications

Additional Requirements:

  • Active Texas DL & LinkedIn ID required for submission.
  • Candidates must reside in Texas and be local to the Austin area (within a 50-mile radius).
  • Public Sector (State / Federal / Local Govt.) client experience is preferred.

Special Requirements

Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days onsite – Mon & Tues). Local to Austin area only (within 50-mile radius). Candidates must already reside in Texas. Active Texas DL & LinkedIn ID required. Public Sector client experience preferred. Interview Mode: Team meetings (In-person interview may be required).


Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Austin, TX
