About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workday Integration & Development SME to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex Workday integrations and solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Workday integrations using Studio, Orchestrate, EIB, and Core Connectors.
  • Design and implement Workday Extend solutions and orchestration flows.
  • Create and manage advanced reports using BIRT.
  • Utilize web services (SOAP, REST) and data transformation techniques (XML, JSON, XSLT) for integration.
  • Ensure a comprehensive understanding of Workday HCM processes and data structures.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
  • Participate in the full software lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, demonstrating a passion for quality and technical excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday integration development experience (Studio, Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors).
  • Demonstrated experience with Workday Extend development and orchestration flows.
  • Strong proficiency in BIRT design and advanced reporting.
  • Deep experience with web services (SOAP, REST) and data transformation (XML, JSON, XSLT).
  • Comprehensive understanding of Workday HCM processes and data structures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Prior involvement in full software lifecycle: requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, support.
  • Strong communicator capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-directed, with a passion for quality and technical excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic project environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday certifications in Integrations, Workday Extend, or related tracks.
  • Experience supporting integrations across multiple Workday functional domains (HCM, Payroll, Finance).
  • Prior experience in high-complexity enterprise environments or large data-integration landscapes.

Special Requirements

Multiple locations: Columbus, Ohio; Akron, Ohio; Flint, MI; Midland, MI; Chicago, IL; Addison, TX. Workday certifications preferred. Experience in high-complexity enterprise environments or large data-integration landscapes preferred.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Columbus, OH
