Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer (12+ Years Experience)
Technumen Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in React, Angular, AWS, and coding expertise. This is a hybrid role based in Columbus, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern technologies.
- Backend development using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and Step Functions, deployed via Terraform.
- Frontend development using TypeScript, CSS, and React for responsive and performant web applications.
- Demonstrate continuous technical skill growth and improve code standards.
- Build applications with cohesive structure and adaptability using proven design patterns.
- Identify and resolve root causes of production incidents.
- Promote best practices for development environments, tools, and technologies.
- Document standards in a central knowledge repository.
- Identify and pitch innovative ideas and Proofs of Concept (POCs).
- Identify technical debt, risks, and recommend solutions.
- Mentor, train, and coach other developers.
- Participate actively in team meetings and scrum ceremonies.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply expertise in full-stack development technologies.
- Represent production code changes in triage meetings.
- Drive adoption strategies for process improvements.
- Design user story implementations for other developers.
- Evaluate user story changes based on domain expertise.
- Estimate effort for features across multiple domains.
- Approve changes as a delegate for the Technical Lead.
- Consistently engage in behaviors that promote excellent outcomes and positive team dynamics.
Required Skills and Experience:
- BS/BA or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 13+ years of software development experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements.
- Strong understanding of technical skills, programming languages, and tools used by the company.
- Hands-on experience with AWS backend technologies (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions) and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including TypeScript, CSS, and React.
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in both technical and business skillsets.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Experience with React, Angular, and AWS is essential.
- Coding expert level required.
