Role Overview
We’re looking for a seasoned Lead Java Full Stack Developer with 12+ years of experience who can drive architecture, lead high-performing teams, and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade applications. This role demands a strong mix of hands-on coding, technical leadership, and strategic thinking. You’ll be owning systems end-to-end and influencing key technology decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and development of complex, high-volume applications
- Define and drive system architecture using microservices and cloud-native principles
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and projects
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices
- Drive performance optimization, security, and scalability initiatives
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management
- Troubleshoot critical production issues and ensure system reliability
Required Technical Skills
- 12+ years of experience in Java development (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate)
- Strong hands-on experience with frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue.js)
- Deep expertise in Microservices Architecture & REST API design
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Solid understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Strong grasp of system design, design patterns, and distributed systems
Leadership & Functional Skills
- Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to drive technical decisions aligned with business goals
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and driving delivery
Nice to Have
- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Exposure to serverless architecture and API gateways
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
- Prior experience in domains like finance
Special Requirements
Prior experience in financial domain highly preferred
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
