Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Program Manager to oversee infrastructure-centric initiatives, including server migrations, end-of-life remediation, and data center consolidations. This role requires demonstrated leadership in managing complex IT projects within large-scale, regulated organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud migrations (Azure/AWS), Microsoft 365 services, disaster recovery, and IT/cybersecurity project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages and coordinates multiple IT & business solution projects, focusing on service and product delivery.
- Applies project management methodologies and enforces project standards.
- Directs the development and implementation of comprehensive project planning documents (e.g., cost, schedule, scope, quality, risk, communication, change management, implementation, procurement, staffing plans).
- Creates and executes project work plans, revising them as needed to meet changing requirements.
- Reviews deliverables and ensures project documents are complete, current, and archived appropriately.
- Sets and manages client expectations, continuously seeking to increase customer satisfaction.
- Facilitates client meetings effectively and communicates relevant project information to superiors.
- Focuses on strategic planning of federal & state mandated projects.
- Develops and implements policies relating to project management.
- Manages enterprise projects for the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
- Develops scope of projects (scope planning, definition, verification, change control).
- Develops plans and executes projects.
- Defines project timelines from beginning to end.
- Outlines phases and staff assigned to complete work tasks.
- Manages activity definition, sequencing, duration estimating, schedule development, and control.
- Develops resources and estimates costs.
- Develops budget and controls costs.
- Ensures quality control.
- Oversees staff acquisition and team development.
- Prepares regular reports for senior management & stakeholders.
- Identifies risks and risk response control.
- Prepares all closeout activities upon project completion.
- Promotes project management best practices across the state through training, certification, mentoring, and developing guidelines.
- Develops, maintains, and promotes the state’s project management methodology.
- Works with Statewide IT Policy to write, implement, and monitor project management policies.
- Performs other related duties as required, including attending senior staff meetings and providing presentations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated leadership in managing infrastructure-centric initiatives (server migrations, end-of-life remediation, data center consolidation): 7+ years
- Infrastructure Domain Knowledge: 5+ years
- Proficient in overseeing Azure or AWS deployments, facilitating cloud migrations, and directing Microsoft 365 service projects (including Exchange): 2+ years
- Established capability in managing disaster recovery efforts and related projects within hybrid and cloud environments: 2+ years
- Specialized project management experience in IT/cybersecurity with an emphasis on information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance: 2+ years
- Proven success working within large-scale, complex, matrixed, and highly regulated organizations governed by IT policies and standards: 2+ years
- Advanced proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies: 5+ years
- Extensive experience utilizing MS Office suite; familiarity with Broadcom Clarity EPPM Tool is considered an asset: 5+ years
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification is preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
