Position 2: AI and Cloud Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer

- Build semantic data layer in Google BigQuery
- Reverse engineer Tableau and Power BI logic

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade analytics and reporting solutions. This role will own the end-to-end Power BI technical strategy, establish standards and governance, and ensure scalable, secure, and cloud-native BI solutions aligned with modern data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Power BI solutions
- Design scalable semantic models using dimensional modeling (star schema, relationships, cardinality)
- Develop advanced DAX calculations and optimize performance
- Define and enforce Power BI governance and standards
- Implement aggregations, incremental refresh, RLS, composite models, and dataflows
- Manage deployment pipelines across Dev, Test, and Production environments
- Work with Microsoft Fabric components including Lakehouse, OneLake, Direct Lake, notebooks, and real-time intelligence
- Architect cloud-native BI solutions integrated with modern data platforms
- Integrate Power BI using APIs and embedded analytics
- Collaborate with data engineering teams for alignment
- Provide leadership and mentorship to BI teams
Required Skills:
- 8+ years in BI and analytics, 5+ years in Power BI
- Strong semantic modeling and dataset design
- Advanced DAX and performance tuning
- Experience with deployment pipelines and DevOps
- Power BI Service administration and governance
- Strong SQL expertise
Data Engineering Requirements:
- Snowflake (views, stored procedures, functions, materialized views)
