Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Architect to lead our Taxation IT team in addressing defects related to performance, security, and functionality within our existing Salesforce application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing the current solution architecture, identifying all issues, and proposing a future state solution architecture. This role also involves enhancing the REXX Application through hands-on collaboration with the Taxation IT team to gather business requirements, design, and develop the future-state REXX solution, ensuring it is reliable, performant, scalable, and meets all functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Taxation IT team in developing current solution architecture for Salesforce.
- Identify and analyze performance, security, and functionality defects in the existing Salesforce application.
- Propose and design future state solution architecture for Salesforce.
- Enhance the REXX Application by gathering business requirements and developing the future-state REXX solution.
- Ensure the new solution is reliable, performant, scalable, and meets all functional requirements.
- Oversee System Security & Compliance, ensuring enhanced REXX complies with internal security policies, external regulations, and best practices.
- Implement access controls, audit logs, and other security measures to protect sensitive business data.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to ODT developers.
- Document reusable patterns, components, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of development experience on the Salesforce Platform with in-depth Salesforce knowledge.
- Must possess solid Architecture, Reporting, Workflow, Automation, and UI skills.
- Must have hands-on Apex programming experience.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Up-to-date Salesforce Certification is required.
- Proven success on large-scale Salesforce implementations.

Employment Details
- Contract role with a duration of 3-6+ months.
- Location: Columbus, Ohio (Local candidates preferred).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
