Job Title: BPM Camunda SME
Location: Warren, NJ (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled BPM Camunda Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the design, development, and implementation of business process automation solutions using the Camunda BPM platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BPMN 2.0 standards, workflow orchestration, and Camunda tools. This role will play a key part in modernizing and automating critical business processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement business process automation solutions using the Camunda BPM platform.
- Model and optimize workflows using BPMN 2.0 standards.
- Develop and manage process orchestration, workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable BPM solutions.
- Lead process design, implementation, testing, and deployment of Camunda workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve workflow performance and integration issues.
- Ensure best practices in BPM architecture, governance, and process optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams on Camunda BPM implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Camunda BPM platform.
- Deep understanding of BPMN 2.0 standards and workflow automation.
- Experience in process orchestration and microservices-based architecture.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and integration frameworks.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level BPM solutions.
- Knowledge of workflow optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance domain.
- Candidates with Finance domain experience will also be considered.
- Experience with Camunda Cockpit, Tasklist, Optimize, and other Camunda tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Note: Please do not share normal Java profiles for this; looking for BPM Camunda with Java. Locals are highly preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
