Role: PeopleSoft Developer

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer with strong functional and technical expertise across key Financials modules to join our team. This role requires an architect-level professional capable of designing end-to-end technical solutions, building new integrations, and implementing enhanced functionalities within the PeopleSoft Financials ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business users to analyze requirements, document functional designs, technical designs, and test scripts, translating them into scalable PeopleSoft solutions.
  • Work in an Agile environment, actively collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in ceremonies, and contributing to iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct impact analysis, fit-gap assessments, and recommend optimal configuration/functional approaches.
  • Architect, design, and implement new functionalities, enhancements, customizations, and complex integrations within PeopleSoft.
  • Develop and maintain technical objects using PeopleTools (8.5x+), including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher, File Layout, PSQuery, etc.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of PeopleSoft security, roles, permissions, and workflow, including AWE.
  • Utilize strong SQL/PLSQL skills with an understanding of underlying database architecture.
  • Build secure, compliant design patterns and ensure adherence to PeopleSoft development standards.
  • Gain hands-on experience with PeopleSoft upgrade or migration efforts (e.g., PUM images, tools upgrades).
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent fixes as required.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative and flexibility to meet deadlines and end-user expectations.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Be a great team player with a can-do attitude.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong functional and technical expertise across key PeopleSoft Financials modules: Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Treasury, Project Costing (PC), Travel and Expenses (T&E), Banking, Billing, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash Management.
  • Proficiency in PeopleTools (8.5x+), including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher, File Layout, PSQuery.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft security, roles, permissions, and workflow (AWE).
  • Good SQL/PLSQL skills.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades or migrations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Autosys experience and JIL scripting.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Fluid technology.
  • PeopleSoft Techno-Functional experience.
  • ServiceNow, JIRA experience.
  • Linux experience.
  • MS Office proficiency.

Location and Employment Type:

  • Location: Columbus, OH
  • Employment Type: Onsite Contract (6 months duration)

Salary: $60 – $80 per year
