Job ID: JOB_ID_58

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-level Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Architect to lead the design and implementation of sophisticated, multi-channel marketing automation solutions. In the rapidly evolving digital landscape of 2026, the ability to orchestrate real-time, personalized customer experiences is paramount. This role is specifically tailored for a technical visionary who can bridge the gap between complex data ecosystems and high-impact marketing strategies. As an AJO Architect, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of customer journeys, ensuring that every touchpoint—whether via email, SMS, direct mail, or digital media—is perfectly timed and contextually relevant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement robust multi-channel journeys within the Adobe Journey Optimizer platform, aligning technical execution with overarching business objectives.
  • Design complex data schemas and establish seamless data flows from diverse sources into the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to facilitate real-time audience segmentation.
  • Collaborate extensively with healthcare marketing teams to ensure all journey designs comply with industry-specific regulations, including HIPAA and other data privacy standards.
  • Lead technical solution design sessions, applying architectural best practices to solve challenges related to customer orchestration and cross-platform integration.
  • Conduct rigorous end-to-end validation and performance monitoring post-launch to ensure flawless execution and identify areas for algorithmic optimization.
  • Integrate AJO with existing marketing technology stacks, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, and HubSpot, to create a unified customer view.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, data mapping specifications, and journey logic flows.

Technical Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Adobe Journey Optimizer Architect or a similar high-level role in marketing automation.
  • Mandatory AJO Certification or an equivalent recognized credential in the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.
  • Deep expertise in data integration, API management, and the use of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) for profile management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable journey triggers.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in the healthcare domain is a strict requirement, with a focus on patient engagement and secure data handling.

The 2026 Marketing Landscape

As we move further into 2026, the role of the AJO Architect has expanded beyond simple automation. You will be expected to leverage AI-driven insights to predict customer behavior and proactively adjust journey paths. This position offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of marketing technology, utilizing real-time streaming data to deliver hyper-personalized experiences at scale. Your work will directly impact customer retention and brand loyalty by ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and data-driven.

Special Requirements

Healthcare background experience is mandatory. Remote work is permitted. Candidates must provide a valid LinkedIn profile for screening.
