Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with over 12 years of experience to lead our Developer Portal and API documentation initiatives in Cleveland, OH. This is a 100% onsite role requiring a professional who can bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how developers interact with APIs and the type of documentation required to facilitate a seamless integration experience. This role is pivotal in ensuring our external partners and internal developers have a robust, self-service platform to consume our digital services.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of business and technical requirements to support the development of a world-class developer portal.
- Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation, including reference guides, authentication flows, and integration best practices.
- Oversee the structure of the developer portal to ensure intuitive navigation and a high-quality user experience (UX).
- Partner with engineering teams to design and implement sandbox environments that meet the testing needs of external partners.
- Lead stakeholder workshops to gather feedback and drive iterative improvements to the developer experience.
- Manage the API publishing process, ensuring that all new endpoints are properly documented and tested before release.
- Utilize the Drupal framework or comparable platforms to manage portal content and implement new features.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as Time-to-First-Call (TTFC) and integration success rates to measure portal effectiveness.
- Collaborate with UX teams to continuously improve the usability and clarity of developer tools and interfaces.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Business Analysis, specifically within the IT and digital domain.
- Proven expertise in Developer Portals and API documentation is a mandatory requirement.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the ability to work within a fast-paced sprint cycle.
- Experience with Drupal or similar content management systems for technical documentation.
- Familiarity with secure file transmission protocols and ERP plugin integrations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional workshops.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration within developer tools and documentation search.
- Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) principles as they apply to technical documentation and portal design.
- Experience in the financial services or card processing industry is a significant plus.

This role is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and requires 100% onsite presence, five days a week. Compensation & Location
Salary: $118,000 – $162,000 per year (Estimated)
