About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Peoplesoft HCM Developer with 12+ months of experience to join our team. This role involves configuring and maintaining core PeopleSoft HCM modules, designing and developing interfaces, and supporting HR stakeholders in delivering enhancements and system fixes.

You will play a crucial part in troubleshooting production issues, documenting system architecture, and collaborating with enterprise teams on HR system migration strategy. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial services regulations is also a key aspect of this position.

Job Description:

  • Configure and maintain core PeopleSoft HCM modules (e.g., Core HR, Workforce Administration, Compensation).
  • Design, develop, and support inbound and outbound interfaces (APIs, flat files, middleware integrations).
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to deliver minor enhancements and system fixes aligned with business priorities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and data integrity.
  • Analyze existing customizations and integrations to support rationalization and simplification efforts.
  • Document current system architecture, data flows, and business processes to support migration readiness.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture and transformation teams on HR system migration strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial services regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM development and configuration.
  • Strong proficiency in: PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Integration Broker), SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle).
  • Experience building and maintaining system integrations and interfaces.
  • Understanding of HR processes and data structures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting HR system migrations or transformations.
  • Familiarity with cloud HR platforms (e.g., Oracle HCM, Workday).
  • Exposure to middleware/integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).
  • Knowledge of data migration, data mapping, and archival strategies.
  • Ability to assess technical debt and recommend remediation approach.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., financial services) preferred.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)
