Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to join our dynamic team in Hartford, CT. This is a critical onsite role requiring a local candidate who can provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for complex Salesforce implementations. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving the technology transformation agenda, ensuring that all solutions align with corporate guidelines and industry best practices. With at least 8 years of dedicated Salesforce experience, you will play a pivotal role in design assessments, technology upgrades, and modernization initiatives. This position is a C2C contract opportunity, ideal for a seasoned professional looking to make a significant impact on large-scale enterprise systems within the insurance and financial services hub of Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable Salesforce solutions that meet complex business requirements.
- Develop high-quality, reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components to enhance the user experience.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Apex code, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and adherence to governor limits.
- Integrate Salesforce with various cloud-based and on-premises systems using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs in both real-time and batch modes.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including unit testing, troubleshooting, and comprehensive code reviews.
- Optimize Salesforce automation processes using Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules to streamline business operations.
- Ensure code quality by identifying and resolving PMD rule violations and reducing cyclomatic and cognitive complexity in Apex.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and offshore partners to deliver seamless technical solutions.
- Oversee and execute deployment processes using modern DevOps tools like Copado, Octopus, and GitHub.
- Design and maintain robust data models and security architectures to protect sensitive organizational information.
Technical Requirements and Certifications
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Salesforce development, design, and architecture.
- Mandatory Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PD2) certification is required for this role.
- Expertise in Salesforce Lightning, LWC, Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, and advanced integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, including sharing rules, profiles, and permission sets.
- Proven experience with integration patterns (REST/SOAP) and handling large data volumes via Bulk APIs.
- Familiarity with modern development tools such as GitHub Copilot, JIRA, and version control systems like Git or RTC.
- Experience with IVR technologies such as Avaya or Cisco, and Chatbot integrations is highly preferred for this specific project.
- Ability to work effectively in an onshore/offshore delivery model, coordinating tasks across different time zones.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $180,000 – $240,000 per year (Estimated)
