Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Pega Developer (LSA Certified) to join our team in Memphis, TN. This is a long-term contract opportunity (20+ months) focused on designing, building, and testing sophisticated web-based applications using the Pega Infinity platform. As a Lead System Architect (LSA), you will be the subject matter expert responsible for the technical excellence of the Pega implementation, ensuring that the architecture is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with multiple teams to deliver high-quality site components and integrated digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test web-based applications for various site components while editing site content.
  • Document technical designs and specifications, ensuring they meet enterprise standards.
  • Research and incorporate updated content and features for websites to enhance user engagement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the development team to perform effectively.
  • Take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to key architectural decisions.
  • Provide innovative solutions to complex problems for the immediate team and across multiple integrated teams.
  • Innovate and implement user-friendly web interfaces that enhance the overall user experience (UX).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables and system stability.
  • Stay updated with the latest web development trends and Pega platform updates to continuously improve project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Pega Software Application Development (Pega 8.x/Infinity).
  • Advanced proficiency in Pega System Administration and environment management.
  • Strong experience with PEGA – PRPC, UI and UX design principles.
  • Expertise in REST API Development and integration with external systems.
  • Solid programming background in JAVA, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Deep understanding of JSON, Data Transforms, and Performance Tuning within Pega.
  • Experience with Pega Case Management, Data Pages, and Security models.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be LSA (Lead System Architect) certified.
  • Proven track record of leading Pega implementations in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
  • Ability to work onsite in Memphis, TN. Local or nearby candidates are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices in a Pega context.

Contract Details

This is a 20+ month contract position based in Memphis, TN. The role requires an onsite presence. We are specifically looking for candidates with H4EAD visa status for this particular requirement. The interview process will involve a video technical screening followed by a final round.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $95 – $115 per year (Estimated)
