Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java and Big Data Engineer with a strong background in Spark and NoSQL databases to join our team. This role involves end-to-end software delivery, from inception to production, requiring independent code changes, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust Java applications.
  • Implement and optimize Big Data solutions using Spark (3+ years of experience required).
  • Work with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
  • Utilize Spring Boot for building microservices and applications.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Contribute to platform architecture and design decisions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Java Developer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark (3+ years).
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra.
  • Familiarity with software development best practices and methodologies.
