Job Title: AI Test Automation Framework Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced AI Test Automation Framework Architect to design, build, and implement a scalable, reusable, and AI-driven automation framework. This framework will support both UI and API testing, leveraging AI-assisted development and agent-based workflows to minimize manual intervention and maximize test coverage across complex customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a modular, scalable, and robust automation framework for UI and API test automation.
• Implement AI-assisted and AI-generated test scripting using cutting-edge tools like GitHub Copilot and other Dev AI platforms.
• Build sophisticated agent-based automation workflows where AI agents can autonomously generate, maintain, optimize, and self-heal test scripts.
• Develop comprehensive automation for end-to-end customer journey validation, extending beyond simple happy-path scenarios.
• Seamlessly integrate the automation framework with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable continuous validation and feedback loops.
• Empower AI agents to efficiently log, update, and manage test results directly within JIRA, mapping them to user stories with minimal manual effort.
• Continuously enhance automation coverage by employing intelligent test generation techniques and advanced self-healing automation capabilities.
• Collaborate effectively with Developers, Quality Assurance teams, and Product Teams to ensure automation strategies align perfectly with business objectives and user scenarios.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience in both UI and API Automation Testing.
• Proven expertise with leading automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and architecting automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong, in-depth understanding of AI-Assisted Development Tools, including but not limited to GitHub Copilot or comparable platforms.
• Practical experience in implementing AI / Agent-Based Workflows within software development or testing lifecycles.
• Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience integrating automation frameworks with JIRA and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and testing strategies for distributed systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience with American Express (Amex) is highly preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing AI-Driven Test Automation Strategy at an enterprise scale.
• Proven track record of successful enterprise-scale automation adoption.
