Role Overview
Sight Spectrum is seeking a highly skilled and motivated .Net Developer to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. This onsite contract position is designed for a technical professional who excels in cloud-native development and possesses a deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. As a core member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications that leverage modern cloud architectures. The ideal candidate will not only bring technical expertise but also a ‘go-getter’ mindset, taking full ownership of project deliverables and driving innovation within the team.
Technical Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust applications using .NET Core, C#, and associated frameworks.
- Architect and implement scalable solutions within the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment.
- Design and integrate complex APIs to facilitate seamless communication between disparate enterprise systems.
- Implement and manage DevOps practices, including the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform, to manage cloud resources efficiently.
- Ensure all development adheres to cloud security and compliance standards, protecting sensitive data and maintaining system integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy applications through cloud migration strategies.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Act as a primary point of contact for client-facing engagements, managing stakeholder expectations and providing technical guidance.
- Coordinate effectively with offshore delivery teams to ensure 24/7 project momentum and high-quality output.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Drive account expansion by identifying technical opportunities that align with client business goals.
- Mentor junior developers and provide peer code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong background in software development across multiple languages, though the primary focus remains on the .NET stack. You must have proven experience in multi-region Azure deployments and a solid understanding of enterprise application architecture. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for navigating complex stakeholder environments. Preferred qualifications include PMP or Azure certifications, which will be considered a significant advantage in the selection process. This role requires a professional who is comfortable working onsite in Phoenix and can adapt quickly to evolving project requirements.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
