This is a critical role for a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect to join the Enterprise Architecture team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future technological landscape by collaborating closely with VPs and other Architects. This position focuses on the creation and maintenance of robust enterprise and platform architectures, sophisticated data architectures, and strategic API initiatives. A key responsibility will be building comprehensive Enterprise Solution Architectures for new and evolving initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.The Cloud Solutions Architect will also play a pivotal role in providing expert technology guidance, defining clear roadmaps, establishing architectural principles, setting industry standards, and promoting best practices across the organization. This involves a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction, expert guidance, and hands-on implementation support for IT Platform architecture, ensuring it effectively supports various Enterprise Architecture requirements and initiatives.
- Demonstrate extensive hands-on experience in creating high-quality Enterprise Architecture Artifacts, including detailed models, comprehensive documentation, and impactful presentations for diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to thoroughly understand and help define core business principles, strategic goals, and overall strategy within the designated scope of responsibility.
- Lead the design of system solutions, ensuring a deep understanding of complex business requirements and translating them into scalable and efficient architectural designs.
- Proactively conduct Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies, validate architectural approaches, and mitigate potential risks before full-scale implementation.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s (BS) or Master’s (MS) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Distributed Architecture is essential.
- Proven strong experience in designing and implementing Distributed Enterprise Application Architectures and Solutions.
- Extensive hands-on experience in creating detailed Architecture Diagrams and comprehensive Documentation.
- A strong understanding of creating Enterprise APIs Architectures, Solutions, and Strategies.
- A robust understanding of Distributed Data Architecture principles and practices, including RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and BigData technologies.
- A strong understanding of Enterprise Security principles, standards, and relevant technologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various deployment IT Infrastructure Architectures, encompassing On-Premise, Cloud (AWS, GCP), and Hybrid Solutions.
- Experience with Enterprise frameworks such as TOGAF is considered a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, CI/CD, and LEAN development models is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in any modern programming languages such as Java, NodeJS, or Python is beneficial.
Technical Skills & Architecture Focus:
- Technology Stack: Proficiency in Golan, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, RDBMS (preferably Postgres), NoSQL (preferably Cassandra), and Messaging systems (Kafka).
- Architectural Fundamentals: Strong grasp of Microservices architecture principles and in-depth knowledge of leading cloud technologies (GCP, AWS).
Additional (Optional) Requirements:
- Knowledge and/or experience within FinTech Eco Systems, including Banking, Cards, Payments, Receivables, and Money Movement, is a valuable asset.
- Prior technology experience with American Express is considered a significant plus.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $250,000 per year (Estimated)
