Job Description: Oracle Forms – PL/SQL Developer

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Forms – PL/SQL Developer with extensive experience in Oracle Forms 10g/12c and a strong background in PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the older Forms Builder knowledge (version 6i) and a proven track record in migrating legacy forms applications to modern web-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate existing Oracle Forms applications to the latest WebLogic version.
  • Perform extensive remediation of PL/SQL objects, including understanding and refactoring deprecated code.
  • Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Ensure the successful migration of old forms files to the latest versions, maintaining data integrity and application functionality.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QE) teams to resolve issues identified during testing phases.
  • Work effectively with Jira for task management and issue tracking.
  • Be self-dependent and capable of working under minimum guidance.
  • Meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Oracle Forms Developer (10g/12c).
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Forms Builder, including older versions like 6i.
  • Advanced skills in PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience in migrating Oracle Forms applications to newer technologies.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic server environments.
  • Proficiency in using Jira for project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.

Additional Information:

  • This is a contract position with a rate of $46/hr on a C2C basis.
  • The role requires working in EST hours.
  • The location is hybrid, near the Infosys Office in Arizona.
