Job Description: Cloud Security Analyst
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Security Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the security posture of our cloud environments and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will be responsible for implementing and managing security controls, conducting risk assessments, and supporting audit activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform gap assessments using Cloud Control Matrix (CCM) and CIS benchmarks.
- Implement and manage security disciplines including Governance, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Infrastructure Security, Vulnerability Management, Data Protection, Application Security, and Incident Response.
- Understand cloud fundamentals such as Containers, Software-defined networks, High availability design, Multi-cloud concepts, and Serverless compute concepts.
- Support the implementation of processes for auditing information security standards.
- Assist in tracking and reporting remediation efforts for security vulnerabilities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and spreadsheets for security reviews.
- Validate data for completeness, accuracy, and relevance to ensure reliable security metrics.
- Maintain internal documentation related to security policies and procedures.
- Support coordination of audit-related activities, including evidence collection and response preparation.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years in Information Security, Technology Risk, IT Controls, or related roles.
- Frameworks & Standards: Familiarity with Cloud Control Matrix (CCM) and CIS benchmarks for basic gap assessments.
- Information Security Disciplines: Experience in Governance, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Infrastructure Security, Vulnerability Management, Data Protection, Application Security, and Incident Response.
- Cloud Fundamentals: Understanding of Containers, Software-defined networks, High availability design, Multi-cloud concepts, and Serverless compute concepts.
- Certification: Information Security certification such as Security+, CCSP Associate, CISA, or similar.
- Audit & Compliance: Experience supporting audit and compliance activities.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Exposure to audit or regulatory processes.
- Risk assessment experience, including process mapping, risk identification, and control testing.
- Experience with regulatory monitoring for cloud security impacts.
This is an onsite position located in Phoenix, AZ. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about cloud security.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year
