Job Title: Apptio Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced Apptio Product Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for executing and refining the roadmap for Apptio One and Targetprocess, driving enhancements focused on scalability, usability, and integration. You will align tool capabilities with portfolio planning, financial management, and resource forecasting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Execution & Roadmap: Execute and refine the roadmap for Apptio One and Targetprocess. Drive enhancements focused on scalability, usability, and integration. Align tool capabilities with portfolio planning, financial management, and resource forecasting needs.
  • End-to-End Experience Ownership: Manage the full user journey across TBM tools (planning, execution, reporting). Identify and resolve gaps impacting user experience and decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across Technology, Finance, and Portfolio Management. Coordinate with adjacent tool owners to ensure a cohesive TBM ecosystem. Facilitate alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
  • Performance Measurement & Insights: Define and track KPIs related to tool adoption, performance, and business value. Analyze data to drive continuous improvement and transparency.
  • Change Enablement & Adoption: Support change management efforts including training materials, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. Drive adoption of new features and enhancements through structured rollout strategies.
  • Vendor & Platform Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Apptio platform stakeholders. Manage release impacts, escalations, and enhancement requests. Ensure platform capabilities align with evolving business requirements.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, including ownership of enterprise technology products or platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Apptio One, Targetprocess, or similar TBM / portfolio management tools.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management, financial modeling, and resource planning.
  • Experience working in Agile environments; familiarity with tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and drive alignment in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM) frameworks.
  • Background in financial planning, investment governance, or portfolio analytics.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise tool implementations or transformations.

This is a long-term contract position. Remote work is also an option.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Phoenix, AZ
