Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automation frameworks, scripting, and modern testing practices within Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation test frameworks from scratch or enhance existing ones.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Identify, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in QA Automation.
  • Strong hands-on with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright.
  • Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript.
  • Experience with TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD).
  • Solid experience in API Testing (REST Assured / Postman).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Experience with Git / version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter is a plus).
  • Experience in Microservices architecture testing.
  • Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Prior experience in Healthcare / Finance domain (optional).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Nice to Have (Optional Add-ons)

  • SDET background.
  • Automation in mobile testing (Appium).
  • Security testing basics.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Phoenix, AZ
