Role Overview:

Valzo Soft Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for an urgent contract role in Phoenix, AZ. This position requires a strong background in technical project management, with a focus on GitHub and GitHub Actions, and a proven ability to lead Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a hybrid team of developers and QE professionals.
  • Lead feature delivery efforts for GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Drive Agile practices and principles within diverse teams.
  • Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies, including Kanban board usage and Jira.
  • Apply banking domain knowledge to project management activities.
  • Understand and manage funding activities, including requirement creation, user story development, and task breakdown.

Qualifications:

  • 6-9 years of experience in technical project management.
  • Strong knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Proven track record as an Agile champion with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Technical knowledge or mindset, with an understanding of software engineering concepts and development workflows.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing remote or hybrid teams across different geographies is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Kanban boards and Jira.
  • Banking domain knowledge is required.
  • Good awareness of funding activities (requirement creation, user story development, task breakdown).
