Role Overview
The Oracle Fusion ODI Consultant will be a critical member of the enterprise data integration team, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of data solutions within the Oracle ecosystem. This onsite position in Chicago, IL, requires a high level of technical expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and a deep understanding of how it interacts with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between raw data and actionable business intelligence by creating robust ETL pipelines and sophisticated data models.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions focusing on Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).
- Develop and maintain complex ETL processes to extract data from Oracle Fusion Cloud modules, including ERP, HCM, and SCM.
- Transform and load data into the Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) to support advanced analytics, executive reporting, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform detailed semantic modeling to ensure that data is structured for optimal performance and ease of use by business analysts.
- Implement and manage data security protocols to protect sensitive information across the integration lifecycle.
- Ensure high data quality through rigorous validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Utilize prebuilt analytics from Fusion Apps (ERP, HCM, SCM, CX) to accelerate the delivery of business insights.
- Optimize existing ODI packages and load plans to improve performance and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and support teams.
Technical Requirements
Candidates must possess a strong background in Oracle Fusion Technology, specifically with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator). Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) is mandatory. Proficiency in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) is highly preferred. The role demands a thorough understanding of the data structures within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, and SCM modules. Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills are essential for troubleshooting and performance tuning. Experience with cloud-based data integration patterns and security best practices is a significant advantage.
Professional Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 7-10 years of experience in data integration and business intelligence is expected, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Oracle Fusion technologies. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders. The ability to work onsite in Chicago is a requirement for this role.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
