Role Overview: AWS Dotnet Solutions Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Technical Specialist in .NET to join our dynamic team as an AWS Dotnet Solutions Architect. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of conceptualizing, designing, and delivering sophisticated software solutions that drive business value. Your deep technical expertise in the .NET ecosystem, combined with a strong proficiency in AWS cloud architecture, will guide our development teams in adopting industry-leading practices. Key Responsibilities and Strategic Impact
- Architect and design comprehensive, scalable solutions for product delivery and sustenance using the .NET Framework and SQL Server, ensuring strict alignment with project scope and enterprise quality standards.
- Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) on .NET technologies and AWS cloud services, providing high-level guidance and hands-on support to team members in solving complex technical challenges and architectural bottlenecks.
- Stay at the cutting edge of emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring that our solutions remain innovative, current, and capable of meeting the evolving needs of a global client base.
- Drive the development of a highly skilled workforce by leading technical interviews, facilitating advanced training sessions, and offering dedicated mentorship to enhance the team’s capabilities in modern .NET development and cloud-native architecture.
- Gather and analyze intricate client specifications to deliver tailored solutions, leveraging a profound understanding of the business domain and applicable technologies to ensure high client satisfaction.
- Lead competency development initiatives by articulating value propositions, creating detailed technical documentation, and analyzing market trends to position the organization as a competitive leader in the IT services space.
- Recommend and implement value-creation initiatives for clients, utilizing industry best practices in .NET and SQL Server to optimize project outcomes and operational efficiency.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- Expert proficiency in the .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C# programming languages is mandatory.
- Extensive experience with AWS stack, including Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, and API Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server for advanced database design, performance tuning, and management.
- Excellent understanding of software architecture principles, microservices, and design patterns (SOLID, CQRS, etc.).
- Proven ability to mentor and guide senior and junior team members effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex client requirements and translating them into actionable, high-performance technical solutions.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications are highly valued.
Special Requirements
Visa constraints: GC, GCEAD, TN & USC only. Remote work based in Chicago, IL area.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year
