SDH Systems is actively seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior AI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and management of sophisticated knowledge graphs, ensuring optimal structure and performance.
- Drive graph data modeling, knowledge graph design, and ontology development initiatives to create robust and scalable data architectures.
- Utilize extensive hands-on experience with graph databases, particularly Neo4j, to implement and manage complex data relationships.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize insights derived from AI models and knowledge graphs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in query languages such as Cypher for efficient data retrieval and manipulation within graph databases.
- Focus on performance tuning and scalability of graph workloads to ensure high availability and responsiveness of AI systems.
- Integrate graph data seamlessly with existing AI/ML pipelines, enhancing the capabilities and accuracy of predictive models.
- Implement and optimize Large Language Model (LLM) integration strategies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with knowledge graphs, to improve contextual understanding and response generation.
- Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques and context orchestration to fine-tune LLM behavior and achieve desired outcomes.
- Architect and build innovative Generative AI applications using leading frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Oversee the fine-tuning, evaluation, and model optimization processes to ensure the highest quality and efficiency of AI models.
- Facilitate API-based deployment of AI solutions, adhering to MLOps best practices and cloud-native architecture principles for robust and scalable operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for AI solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and knowledge graph technologies to continuously enhance our capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 13+ years of total IT experience with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing knowledge graphs, including graph data modeling and ontology development.
- Extensive hands-on experience with graph databases, specifically Neo4j.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Expert-level knowledge of query languages such as Cypher.
- Solid understanding and experience in performance tuning and scalability of graph workloads.
- Experience integrating graph data with AI/ML pipelines.
- Strong background in LLM integration, particularly RAG with knowledge graphs.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering and context orchestration.
- Hands-on experience building GenAI applications using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Familiarity with fine-tuning, evaluation, and model optimization techniques.
- Experience with API-based deployment, MLOps, and cloud-native architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
