Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IAM – Active Directory Consultant for a C2C role. This position offers flexibility with a preferred location in Chicago, IL, or the option to work remotely. Junior profiles with the right visa status will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level consultation on Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, with a strong focus on Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
  • Administer and manage Windows identity environments, including Group Policy Objects (GPO) and core Active Directory components.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions using PowerShell scripting to streamline IAM processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure and efficient management of user identities and access privileges.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM-related issues.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of IAM best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • IAM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD is essential.
  • Windows Identity Administration: Strong experience with GPO and core AD components.
  • PowerShell Scripting: Proficiency in scripting and automation for IAM tasks.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus (e.g., Microsoft identity certifications, Security+, Azure/Entra-focused certifications), but not required if hands-on IAM operations experience is strong.
