Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle OMS Consultant to join our client’s team in Chicago, IL. This role requires a strong understanding of brokerage and OMS-based trading support environments, with a focus on ensuring accurate trade lifecycle processing from execution through settlement. You will be responsible for daily trade reconciliations, resolving breaks, and acting as a primary point of contact for traders and clients to address production issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional expertise in brokerage with OMS-based trading support environments.
- Monitor the full trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing from execution through settlement.
- Perform daily trade reconciliations across internal systems, clearing firms, and custodians, resolving breaks and settlement issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for front-office traders, clients, and internal partners to resolve production issues and inquiries.
- Identify operational risks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement process improvements.
- Produce and validate daily and weekly management reports and trading metrics.
- Participate in system testing and support the implementation of technology enhancements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a front office or trading support role within a financial institution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with traders and clients.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- High attention to detail when managing high volume transactions under tight deadlines.
Essential Skills
- The role is based in Chicago and requires working on the trading floor at the Chicago office a minimum of four days per week.
Desirable Skills
- Digital: Python, Microsoft SQL Server 2019
- EIS: Order Management and Despatch, Trade Finance

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
