Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SharePoint & Power Platform Developer to join our team. This is an onsite position requiring local candidates from Chicago, IL. The role involves custom development, leveraging the full suite of Microsoft’s Power Platform and SharePoint Online capabilities to build robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions, including SPFx Web Parts and Extensions using TypeScript.
  • Implement custom development using CSOM and SSOM.
  • Utilize PnP (Patterns and Practices) for SharePoint development.
  • Design and develop Power Automate flows for workflow automation.
  • Build and integrate Power Apps for business process digitization.
  • Develop Azure Web APIs and Azure WebJobs for backend services.
  • Create and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, including advanced DAX calculations and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data governance through row-level security in Power BI.
  • Support and maintain existing Power BI solutions, troubleshooting data refresh and connectivity issues.
  • Provide user training and technical support for Power BI solutions.
  • Oversee system monitoring, scheduled refreshes, and gateway management for Power BI.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with Jira and ServiceNow for project and issue tracking.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics applications and modules, including Dynamics NAV (2009-2017) and/or Microsoft Business Central.
  • Familiarity with business objects and integration frameworks for Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
  • Proficiency in database management using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with the Visual Studio .NET environment.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement apps (Sales, Service, Field Services, Project Service Automation).
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations.
  • Document business requirements and participate in solution design.
  • Configure and customize Dynamics applications.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Train end-users on Dynamics applications.
  • Understand business processes and map them to Dynamics solutions.
  • Plan and prepare master data for implementations.
  • Perform upgrade assessments for Dynamics applications.
  • Facilitate customer decision-making processes.
  • Possess strong communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Expertise in SSIS and SSAS is highly advantageous.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
