Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Playwright automation to join our team. This is a 100% onsite position located in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in software testing and automation, with a proven track record in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for UI and API testing.
- Develop and execute automated test cases for mobile-based browser automation.
- Create and enhance automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify testable features and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide detailed reports.
- Participate in code reviews of automation scripts and frameworks.
- Communicate effectively with technical leadership and business users regarding testing progress and results.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Over 12 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and API automation.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Experience with Mobile based browser automation.
- Strong coding skills in relevant programming languages.
- Excellent understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and presentation skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
